New York Round Table Writers’ Conference. New York City. April 12, 2008. Moderated a panel on memoir with Catherine Texier, Phoebe Damrosch, Stephanie Griest and Stephen O’Connor.

North Carolina State University. Raleigh, NC. April 8, 2008. Presented a talk to students and faculty based on The Soul of Creative Writing.

New York Writers Workshop Nonfiction Pitch Conference. New York City. February 22-24, 2008. Led workshop helping writers hone their pitches to participating editors.

Richard Goodman teaches in New York City and in Louisville, Kentucky. He also travels around the country lecturing and conducting workshops. He is a founding member of the New York Writers Workshop. He teaches at Spalding University's Brief Residency MFA in Writing Program. Richard Goodman conducts one-on-one consultations and holds private classes, as well.
